The Results of Justification by Faith

What is the answer top to the world's problems? Money is not a solution or taking away guns. And for gangs it isn't more recreation as some would say. The answer is-A right relationship with God through justification by faith. 1)Peace with God. 2)Access into God's Presence. 3)Hope in the Glory of God.

Promises of God

What we have in Christ is more valuable than any billions. The Promise of God Precedes our Obedience. When we put our trust in our works it brings the wrath of God. The Promise of God is Guaranteed by His Power. We are to praise God for His glorious grace. We can face discouragement by meditating on the promises of God.

The Walk of Faith

Abraham's life was a life of walking with God by faith. The Characteristics of Abraham's Righteousness are: 1)Abraham's Righteousness Came Before Circumcision. The circumcision was a external sign of an internal reality. Outward signs of inward reality today are - Baptism & Communion. 2)Abrahm's Righteiousness Serves as a Model for the Nations. We need to be led by the spirit of God as to what to do and it shouldn't be tied to salvation. We also need to abstain if it causes a brother to stumble.

The Perils of Pride

Why is pride such an abomination in the sight of God? Pride glorifies self not God, pride divides people. The law of faith- in Christ the law is fulfilled. Jesus became accursed for us so that we can be free from the curse. Why is faith so important? Faith kills pride. We're to boast in the Lord. We don't have anything that we didn't receive from God.

A Great Price Was Paid by Christ for our Spiritual Freedom

The blood of Jesus pays the price for freedom from sin. Why is it that we live as slaves to sin if we are set free from sin? The blood of Jesus satisfies the wrath of God against sin-propitiation. God makes us new. He satisfies His anger through the blood of Christ. The blood of Jesus bring forgiveness of sin and its consequences. We are passed over by applying the blood of Jesus. The blood of Jesus should impact: Our Worship (meditate on blood of Christ 3X a day), Our Walk (relationship with God, freedom of sin, relationship with others), & our Witness.

In This Life You Are Only As Good as Your Last Victory

The glory of God withstands the test of time. I) Embracing the Glory of God. value, treasure for who He is. 1) The unrighteous fall short of the Glory of God. We have been going through Romans and have been concentrating on our sin with a spattering of grace. Now we will be concentrating on grace with a little of our sin thrown in. We should, however, not move on until we have dealt with the sin issue. Without Christ we cannot attain the glory of God. On the cross, Christ took our sin on himself. Our righteousness is as filthy rags. If we are in Him, He makes us beautiful & glorifies Himself in our lives.

The Fear of God

God needs to be exalted & reverenced. We think the fear of God is what God can do to us but actually it is awe or reverence. This message tells how to have the fear of God. 1)Think often of the Throne Room of God. Everyone is stamped guilty & those that know the Lord will be stamped "Paid in full". When presented with God in all his glory, Isaiah responded with fear of the Lord and realization of his utter depravity. There is joy in meditating on the glory of God. 2)Let the Word of God Impact You Deeply. No one will be justified according to their deeds. By the law we gain knowledge of sin. What Difference should fear of God make in our life?

The Effects of Sin

Sin cripples our relationship with God. In God's eyes no one does good apart from God's grace. Sin cripples our desire for God. It effects our mind and heart. Our natural desire if for the things of the flesh not the things of God. God has the power to change our desires. Sin cripples our behavior. What we say shows what is in our heart.

Is God Fair?

To God there is no difference between a Jew & a Gentile. They are both under judgement. What advantage, then, is there in being a Jew? Does unfaithfulness nullify God's faithfulness? God can bring good things out of bad. God will prevail when He is judged. If man's unrighteousness magnifies Gode's righteousness, is God an unjust judge? Christians will one da participate in judging.

Why Pray?

Have you ever wondered why should I spend an hour in prayer? I mean what is the point. The Bible teaches that prayer is the method that God uses to bring spiritual revival both personally and corporately. Jeremiah outlines the steps that God accomplishes to restore his people. They give us greater motivation to be people of prayer
