Armed and Engaged

Every Christ-follower is enlisted in God's "army" and engaged in the battle. It's a spiritual battle, not a physical one. We need to know our Commander's battle plan, and we need to know our enemy (the world, the flesh, and the devil). But if we don't also know and put on the "armour" that God has supplied each of us, we may shrink back in fear of personal harm or we may charge in without the protections and weaponry we need. Ross Wilson explains the battle we're in and the armour we have been issued with, and encourages every Christ-follower to be both armed and engaged.

The World at Your Doorstep

The "world" in all it's cultural and spiritual diversity has been brought to our neighbourhood. Where once we had only a few cultures, and mostly Christianised people to reach out to, today we have people of almost every culture and worldview imaginable. How can we handle the challenges and opportunities presented to us without even leaving our street?
