  <title>Our Warrior King</title>
  <description>Our Warrior King

Exodus 15:3

Three important attributes of God:

1.	He is fierce.

Passion is the degree of difficulty we are willing to endure to accomplish the goal.

2.	He hates.

We cannot love people with the love of Christ unless we learn how to fiercely and passionately hate some things.

3.	He fights.

Perhaps more than anything else, the Christian life is a fight.

Scripture:

Exodus 15:1-3
Psalm 69:24
Revelation 19:1-5
Isaiah 1:14
Matthew 21:12
Psalm 97:10
Romans 12:9
John 8:42-44
Luke 4:1-13
Matthew 10:34-35
1 Timothy 6:12

  <title>Anatomy of A Prodigal</title>
  <description>Anatomy of a Prodigal

Exodus/Luke

Figure 1:	The ‘Me’ Syndrome or	Listen to your heart

When life becomes all about our instincts and our desires, we are well on our way to becoming a prodigal.

Figure 2:	The Insanity or	Round and round we go

Classic definition of insanity: Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

Figure 3:	The Pig Pen or	Don’t eat that

This stage of the prodigal life is when our appetites no longer make sense. We develop a taste for death instead of life.

Figure 4:	The Fork or	The road not taken

The difference between a prodigal and a prodigal son is that prodigal sons come home.

Scripture:

Exodus 7:22-23 Exodus 10:8-11
Luke 15:11-12 Exodus 10:16-17
Jeremiah 17:9 Luke 15:15-16
2 Peter 2:12 Exodus 14:5-7
Philippians 3:18-19 Luke 15:17-20
Exodus 8:6-8 Exodus 14:23-28
Exodus 8:13-15 Luke 15:21-24
Exodus 8:20-21
Exodus 8:24-25
Luke 15:13-14
Exodus 10:7

  <title>Showing His Glory</title>
  <description>Showing His Glory

Exodus 7:14-24

The Book of Exodus is primarily about glory.

Four words to help put the plagues of Exodus in context:

I.	Supremacy

Living for the glory of God means living to proclaim and declare the supremacy of God in all things.

II.	Supernatural

Living for the glory of God means seeing and declaring the supremacy of God in His supernatural attributes.

III.	Judgment

Living for the glory of God means seeing and declaring the supremacy of God in His righteous judgment.

IV.	Redemption

Living for the glory of God means living to proclaim the supremacy of the cross of Jesus Christ in all things.

Scripture:

Exodus 7:14-24 Exodus 12:13
Colossians 1:17 Ephesians 1:7
Romans 1:20 1 Corinthians 1:18
Romans 9:17 2 Corinthians 2:14-16
Romans 9:22-23 Galatians 6:14 (KJV)
Revelation 11:13
Revelation 14:7
Revelation 15:8
Psalm 7:11
2 Timothy 4:8
