* Being left and dumped He rescued us and covered our nakedness.
    * And promised to marry us thus providing security and commitment.
    * He bathe us washing off the blood, rubbed not just salt be fragrant oils into our skins.
    * He dressed us with royal robes and beautiful jewellery.
    * Also banqueting at His lavish table.
    * When started to look the part of being adopted as Royalty.

Perils of a Christian

Live freely, animated and motivated by God's Spirit. Then you won't feed the compulsions of selfishness. For there is a root of sinful self-interest in us that is at odds with a free spirit, just as the free spirit is incompatible with selfishness. These two ways of life are antithetical, so that you cannot live at times one way and at times another way according to how you feel on any given day. Why don't you choose to be led by the Spirit and so escape the erratic compulsions of a law-dominated existence? It is obvious what kind of life develops out of trying to get your own way all the time: repetitive, loveless, cheap sex; a stinking accumulation of mental and emotional garbage; frenzied and joyless grabs for happiness; trinket gods; magic-show religion; paranoid loneliness; cutthroat competition; all-consuming-yet-never-satisfied wants; a brutal temper; an impotence to love or be loved; divided homes and divided lives; small-minded and lopsided pursuits; the vicious habit of depersonalizing everyone into a rival; uncontrolled and uncontrollable addictions; ugly parodies of community. I could go on. This isn't the first time I have warned you, you know. If you use your freedom this way, you will not inherit God's kingdom. But what happens when we live God's way? He brings gifts into our lives, much the same way that fruit appears in an orchard—things like affection for others, exuberance about life, serenity. We develop a willingness to stick with things, a sense of compassion in the heart, and a conviction that a basic holiness permeates things and people. We find ourselves involved in loyal commitments, not needing to force our way in life, able to marshal and direct our energies wisely.

Legalism is helpless in bringing this about; it only gets in the way. Among those who belong to Christ, everything connected with getting our own way and mindlessly responding to what everyone else calls necessities is killed off for good—crucified. Since this is the kind of life we have chosen, the life of the Spirit, let us make sure that we do not just hold it as an idea in our heads or a sentiment in our hearts, but work out its implications in every detail of our lives. That means we will not compare ourselves with each other as if one of us were better and another worse. We have far more interesting things to do with our lives. Each of us is an original.

Covenants-God's Master Plan

This is the climatic Covenant and this is the one to which the New Testament refers.
Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel;

After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name: If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever. Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD. Jeremiah 31:31-40).

One can see that in the previous Covenants, there are promises that pertain to the land, which pertain to the King, and which pertain to Abraham’s seed but one thing is still missing. That one thing is bound up in sin. It is not enough to make promises to Abraham’s seed if we are not prepared morally to enjoy these possessions. We need to have our sins forgiven, in order for us to enter into these blessing which God has provided. Ever since the Garden of Eden, men have been in sin so the New Covenant is designed to prepare the seed for the possession of the promises. It is the Covenant that relates to the forgiveness of sin. When the Lord Jesus Christ came He inaugurated the New Covenant. At the Last Supper, Jesus took the bread and wine and said, “This is my body which is given for you, and this cup is the New Covenant in my blood, which is shed for you.” In other words the Lord’s Supper is a symbol of His death. The Christian Church from the time of the Apostles has celebrated the Lord’s Supper because it is symbolic of the blessings of the New Covenant and the ultimate promises the Lord made to us. He gave His body and His blood for the sins of the world, then after the Resurrection, the New Covenant was inaugurated on the Day of Pentecost (Acts 2:1-39). Our Lord’s sacrifice on the cross laid the foundation for the promises of Abraham and David which are ultimately fulfilled in us by the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ is the image of the invisible God

Jesus Christ is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent. For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.

When you fall

When you became a Christian, you died to your old life and were raised, as it were, with Christ to a new kind of life. This is your new life of discipleship in which you follow Christ. But this new life is not automatic. Your life does not automatically start showing the “fruits of the Spirit.” When God places the desire in your heart, you still must carry through, take the next step, and do what God has asked you to do. The bad news is that we do not always take this next step; we stumble and fall by doing what God has asked us not to do. The good news is that God is ready to help. We believe that God is our Creator and that he is all-wise and all-good. This means that he determines what is right and what is wrong, and that his judgments are always for our good.

The Gospel

The most famous passage in the Bible is in the book of John, chapter 3, verse 16. This is how God loved the world: he gave his one and only Son so that everyone who believes in him will have eternal life and not really die. Let us look at the different parts of this verse. “This is how God loved the world.” God is the starting point. He created the world, loved the world, but the people he created decided to rebel against him (which the Bible calls “sin”), and the consequence of that decision was separation from God and eventually death. “He gave his one and only Son.” The good news is that God gave his Son to die on the cross so that his death would pay the penalty for your sins and forgiveness could be made available.
