Holding on that promise the Lord gives instructions to Joshua and the people of Israel to follow - to bring down the walls of Jericho. 1, Men of War were asked to go round about the wall once once a day for six days and seventh day seven times - 2. Ark of the Covenant should go before - which denotes - we are the covenant bearers - which covenant is none other than our own good conscience. 3. Seven priests with ram's horns should blow the trumpet - which is the symbol of victory which we should keep claiming by glorifying God like Abraham (Rom 4:20) in faith. 4. So Good Conscience and Glorifying God in faith should go around the walls of Jericho before which armed men should go - which means - we should be well equipped should be watchful and vigilant to keep our Good Conscience and Glorifying God in faith which the enemy would always try to attack. 5. Then rear guard should go behind the ark - the glory of the Lord should preserve us from behind. 6. Joshua instructs them not to say anything or make noise with their voice but to shout when he instructs them to shout. In the times of trials we have to only keep glorifying God and not to open the mouth and say words of unbelief etc. 7. On the seventh days they went seven times around the city - how was it possible for them to do that - it was the strength they derived from the spoken word of God where God instructs what to do and they followed accordingly and that is the strength that made them accomplish the job. When we obey God's word as it is we can do enormous things for which he gives us the strength. 8.
