Older Brother

This sermon is based on Jesus' parable of the prodigal son and his older brother.
The younger son comes to the realization of what he has done and seeks forgiveness from his father. The older son resents that his father forgives the younger son of his excess.

This story is an analogy of God's forgiveness. Yet those that are Christians should not be offended at God's grace to those that have sinned and sought forgiveness.

Each of you are uniquely endowed by God with a specific gift. Individually, we contribute to the body of Christ as we individually benefit as members of the body of Christ.

Lions and Eternal Glory

Peter encourages the elders to share their wisdom and experiences with others and to serve as an example and therefore be rewarded.

The younger generation, it is incumbant to accept the authority and wisdom of those that are older.

Be alert for the devil. God has given you the power to not allow you to be devoured by the devil.
