Liking Repentance

The word 'repentance' has always brought up a negative feeling for me (maybe just too many people telling me to repent when I was younger).

But repentance is actually a very positive walk into the grace and acceptance of God. Instead of binding and condemning us, it treats us as free sons and daughters liberated by the grace of God.

Because God is good, and committed to be good to me in my sin, I can embrace repentance daily. Shoot, even hourly!

Fear of God

The 'Fear of God' is rarely understood, so we avoid talking about it. (who preaches on the fear of God today?)

In this relaxed, but probing sermon leads us to understand true nature and value of the fear of God for everyday life.
