Not Ashamed

We in the church proclaim that we are not ashamed of the Gospel. Do our actions proclaim the same thing?
Do we go out into the world proclaiming the Gospel or are we afraid of being rejected?
Do we correct somebody who sins or are we afraid to be called a religious radical?
The world is quick to say we are against something, hate others that do not believe like us. This is satan trying to shame us, as when we are ashamed we retreat, we back off.

What is Our Obligation?

We are all called and compelled like the apostle Paul.
Jesus Christ is OUR road to Damascus. Because of Jesus we are changed, we have the Holy Spirit. The difference between Paul and the church today is: Paul listened. Are we?

Acts 2:42-44 tells us: "They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
Declared With Power to be the Son of God

Jesus was declared to be the Son of God and was born of the seed of David according to the flesh.
He was never made the Son of God. This is because he always was and will always be.
God set the boundary who Jesus is and He decreed this. So Jesus was proved to be the Son of God. Man can fight, argue and deny this fact, but it does not change this same fact.

Who do You Say Jesus Is?

Who do YOU say Jesus is? Was Jesus of born of man? Was He just another prophet? Was He Eliah or John the Baptist? Or was He fully man and fully God? Is He the Son of God? The Savior of the World?
Do you have Jesus Christ in your heart? If you don't, you do not have salvation.

A Clear and Present Call

Paul proclaims to be "a bondservant of Jesus Christ". He is telling us that he is a slave of Jesus Christ. Are you a bondservant/slave of Jesus Christ? Does the world know you as a Redskins fan? Or as a soldier, lawyer, accountant, housewife????? Or do they know you as a slave of Jesus Christ? Are you Jesus' servant?
You know by answering this question honestly: Have you been changed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Have you received the Word and has it changed your life?

Garbage, Grace and Glory

The old Paul (Saul) was a Pharisee and an expert in the law. He persecuted the church with every means available to him. He approved the stoning of Stephen (Acts 7: 57-58).
The new Paul was chosen by Jesus Christ to teach the Gospel to the gentiles. Paul sacrificed all he had, his old friends, his family, all his belongings, for his faith.
Is there a distinct difference between the old and the new you?

Now About Spiritual Gifts

If the level of presence of the Holy Spirit in your life is low or non-existent, how can you be of use for God and His Church?
Until your eyes are focused on Christ's Kingdom, you will never find out what your spiritual gifts are. Remember that Christ already gave them to you; but until you strive to be Christ-Like, you will never know.

Let Us Rebuild Our Nation’s Wall

When the spiritual wall (God's word and knowledge) is broke, our enemies come in and wreak havoc in our nation. Look at all that is going on in our homes, schools, churches, communities...........
Our (America's) walls will soon come down if we continue this path.
It is written "Ask Me anything and it will be given to you". What are we asking for? Do we ask for a "Nehemiah" to rise and rebuild America's wall?
I think we should!!
