Who Belongs to the Church of God?

How can it be that people who are never in The Word, are part of the Church? Even worse: Some of those who never study The Word or call on God have leadership positions in the Church. So is it a mystery that the world is changing the church instead of the church changing the world?..........

ENFRENTANDO LO IMPOSIBLE

ENFRENTANDO LO IMPOSIBLE (Exodo 14:10-20)

The Greatest of These......

We have seen the faith and hope spoken of in 1 Corinthians 13.13 and now we
turn our attention to the greatest of what remains - love. More than just a word or
description or feeling... there is a way in which we show the full extent of
our love. What would the church become if the Disciples of Christ loved in
the manner shown by Christ Himself? We know the answer, but are we willing
to go to the full extent even as our Savior showed the full extent of His
love? If I can speak in tongues, have the gift of prophecy, have faith that
can move mountains, give my money to the poor and surrender my body to the
flames, but have not love; I am but a resounding gong or clanging cymbal...
I am nothing... I gain nothing...

What Then Is Your Hope?

How long have you been troubled and did NOT cry out to Jesus? And if you cried out, what did you expect; what was your hope?
In Matthew 14 Jesus shows that His help is IMMEDIATELY, not after a week or a year.
That is the hope we have thru faith.

Your Way Prosperous With Good Success

Read 2 Peter 1:10-11 and 1 Peter 1:3-5, This is God's promise to us. We just have to take hold of it.
How much has your faith grown in 2009. If it did not grow, you messed up! It is our responsibility to be in The Word (continuously) and grow our faith thru study and prayer.

Veamos:

Who Is this Child, Jesus

The message will show Mary's favor, the child's name, His great Person, and His Eternal
Kingdom. There is a lyric that reads, "If this story is true, my friend,
does it matter to you at all?" The theology of this Country song is a bit
twisted to be certain, but the question has always struck me. If [and I
stake my eternal future on this truth!] the Christmas story is true - does
it matter at all to you? Does this Christmas significance demonstrate your
life in Christ's Person, Character, and Holiness? Let us come and worship
our Lord of lords and King of kings.
